MEET FOURTH WAVE FOUNDATION
What is Fourth Wave?
Alvin Toffler’s Wave Theory considers history as different ‘waves’ and describes them categorically as: (i) Agricultural, (ii) Industrial and (iii) Knowledge or Information. These waves are the products of human creation and their result is our world today. Clearly then, our actions have the power to shape businesses, economies, politics, religions, global affairs and social power interrelationships.
From amidst today’s world, we believe that another wave is emerging… a wave of change in man to use all the other three waves more responsibly. From helping bridge divides prevalent in modern society, and awakening citizens to be more responsible to redefining wealth and inculcating global stewardship, this ‘new wave’ will demand for a world with a new vision for education of the young and inclusion of the deprived, where seamless boundaries emerge, where no one is powerless and where creating change is a part of everyday life. Welcome to the ‘fourth wave’ – Bridging Divides!
Fourth Wave Foundation is our response to a call for social change. Our approach involves taking up social issues and turning them into innovation challenges, while working with multi-stakeholders to address the divides and inequalities that exist in and around us. Our key areas of focus include: Education, Empowerment, Ethics and Inclusion.
